NCIS Stars Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly Team Up for Podcast and Spin-Off

Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, beloved for their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David on NCIS, are set to team up again for exciting new projects.

In February, it was announced that the actors would reunite for an NCIS spin-off set in Europe, scheduled to begin filming in Budapest later this year. This spin-off will follow Tony, Ziva, and their daughter Tali as they go on the run across Europe after Tony’s security firm is attacked.

The series will explore their efforts to trust each other again and find those responsible for the attack, aiming for an unconventional happily ever after. Weatherly and de Pablo will also serve as executive producers, along with Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, and Shelley Meals, while John McNamara will be the showrunner.

Before reprising their iconic roles, Weatherly and de Pablo will launch a Spotify video podcast titled Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch on June 4, according to TVLine. In this podcast, the duo will invite special guests each week to reminisce about and re-watch iconic NCIS episodes, sharing behind-the-scenes moments and insights.

Confirmed guest stars for the podcast include Sean Murray (Special Agent Tim McGee), Brian Dietzen (Dr. Jimmy Palmer), and Sasha Alexander (Special Agent Caitlin Todd). Other notable guests will include Jon Cryer, who guest-starred as Dr. Cyril Taft in NCIS Season 13, as well as Eric Christian Olsen and Daniela Ruah from NCIS: Los Angeles (Marty Deeks and Special Agent Kensi Blye), among others.

Fans of NCIS can look forward to both the podcast and the upcoming spin-off series, which promise to bring back the magic of Tony and Ziva’s dynamic on-screen partnership.
