Rescuing a 1977 Peterbilt 359 From Its Grave – First Time On the Road in Decades

Rescuing abandoned cars and turning them back into life is like a hobby for some, and it requires a great deal of money, time and hardworking.

But, the result is always satisfying. In today’s video, we’re checking out the resurrection process of a badass Peterbilt truck. This is a 1977 Peterbilt 359 short hood running on a Cummins NTC-400 Big Cam 2 with 13-speed Roadranger transmission, Peterbilt air leaf suspension and a 36” sleeper.

It’s a Peterbilt that stayed abandoned for 18 years and it was about to die when it’s rediscovered. Luckily, it came back to life and restarted its street life after 18 years. We need more rescue projects like this one.

Check out today’s extensive video to see how they took out this ’77 Peterbilt 359 out of its grave and rescued it.

Maybe it inspires you and you start to look for a car to save from rotting out.
