1972 Dodge Challenger Rally 340/727 Slapstick 355 Sure Grip

Many car manufacturers can stand proudly on the market with the impressive history they had behind and reincarnating the old muscle beast in new light. Yeah, many, but for certain the Dodge Company is standing on the top!

Yeah, we are all witness on the impressive Dodge Hellcat but this goes even deeper to the roots of this car which are four decades old. 1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340 was and for sure still is a killer muscle car and proud ancestor of the Hellcat.

This Rallye edition Challenger was originally powered by 340 cubic inches V8 engine delivering 240 hp and 393 lb-ft of torque with 3-speed manual transmission accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 7,5 seconds and reaching maximum speed of 125 mph (201 km/h).

This model shown on the video is preserved almost in the original muscle shape with only few details changed like bigger wheels dressed in BFG TA Radials for better handling (5×10 Rallye in the rear and 15 x 8 in the front), 2.202 intake, 1.60 exhaust, 727 slapstick etc. You will find out more bellow the video.

Watch the video and listen to the rumbling of the engine, awesome muscle sound:

Love it!
